The college is named after its Heavenly Patron, St Anthony Mary Claret, a 19th Century Catholic Archbishop of Cuba and Founder of the Roman Catholic Society of the Claretian Missionaries. Founded in 2002 by Claretian Missionaries of the Bangalore Province in response to the educational desires of the people of Garden City , SCPC is committed to becoming a premier institute of education in Bangalore, providing value based, soulful education for people, in order to help them be honest seekers and practitioners of truth, and earnest agents of transformation within and around them.
