Attendance Monitoring

The working day at St. Claret PU College comprises of two sessions- the morning session and the afternoon session comprising of four periods in the morning & two periods in the afternoon.

Students are expected to be regular to their classes and are to have a minimum of 85% attendance at the end of the academic year. Attendance will be marked at the commencement of each hour and then entered to the software where at the time of requirement attendance report is generated. Personal warnings & PTA Meetings are conducted for the students in order to improve their attendance percentage.

A Student who is absent from classes for any hour/day or more than a day has to mark it and write the reason for absence in the monthly planner in the Handbook where space is provided.

He/She must at the end of the month get the signatures of the parent and the respective class teacher and submit it to the principal whenever called for verification.
